The Purpose of a Commercial Drying Room
From food to seeds to clothes - the purpose of building a drying room is to create and maintain the ideal temperature and humidity. When storing products, a drying room should keep the stored products in exactly the same state as when they were first stored. Small Goods Drying Rooms
With a commercial drying room for meat, the room should remain, as the name implies, dry. However, it is storing meat, so the room also has to remain very cold – below 4° C.

Dehumidifiers for Commercial Drying Rooms
The Optimal Solution for any drying application is going to be the use of a dehumidifier. For rooms that require a low temperature (below 20°C), then a desiccant dehumidifier is the answer. For rooms with a higher humidity (think pool rooms, clothes drying rooms), then a refrigerant system would be better suited. Desiccant Dehumidification increases refrigeration efficiency and equipment and system reliability which in turn reduces operating costs and lowers energy consumption.
